Members of ExcludedUK were heartened today that The Guardian continue to support the 3.8 million UK taxpayers/voters excluded from parity of Covid-19 support. This article concentrates on those denied furlough but Jennifer Griffiths, Head of ExcludedUK, also highlights some of the after-effects that all categories are ensuring.
Please read this article if you are unaware of some of the dreadful scenarios that were being experienced whilst the other 90% of the population were looked after by the state that every taxpayer pays in. The excluded dutifully paid in but were deliberately left out.
RIP37+ who are not with us to continue the campaign for parity
I was one of those people who did not receive any money during the furloughed period.
I am a one person limited company and as such was deemed not allowed furlough money, why?
I received the first two payments of SEISS but then received a letter saying that my state pension was more than 50% of my income so I would not receive the 3rd payment. I was worried that they would claim back the money they had already paid me so didn’t query it. Now feeling that I had been misinformed, while paying tax every year and seeing it being wasted.
